What is an ATS?
An Applicant Tracking System is software that parses your resume, extracts keywords, and ranks candidates before a human sees them. Most Fortune 500 companies and every federal agency use one.
Why do veteran resumes get filtered out?
Military acronyms don't match civilian job-description keywords. If a job posting asks for "logistics manager" and your resume says "92Y NCOIC," the ATS gives you a 0 for that keyword.
How is this scanner different?
It's trained on veteran resumes and knows how to translate MOS/AFSC/Rating language into civilian keywords.
